As we begin our 21 days of lockdown, the Leadership Team and staff of Kainos Group would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that we will be continuing business albeit from our respective homes, which we have set up as remote offices, instead of from the office.

Kainos Short Term Business Continuity Plan During COVID-19 Lockdown

In light of the lockdown announced by the government, we have activated our business continuity plan.

This means that all staff have access to IT systems as well as telephonic communication from home during the lockdown period.  Except for the impact on external service providers (assessors, panel beaters and other service providers), it will be business as usual at Kainos.  Should you need to contact us, please contact the relevant staff member directly:

We do expect that service levels will be affected where claims are serviced by providers who are deemed to render “non-essential” services – notably the motor repair industry. Please be aware that these disruptions will be completely out of our control. We will always act in the best interest of our clients and endeavor to assist in finalising claims as quickly as possible.

In relation to claims, we request that you still notify us of claims in accordance with the usual procedure. More specifically, it remains important that you notify us without delay if any insured vehicle was involved in an accident so that we can make arrangements to store, if required, any such vehicle with a view to avoid exorbitant storage fees during the lockdown period.  We recommend that our clients rather store drivable vehicles at their own premises, as panel beaters will be closed and not be able to render quotations in any event.

Please note that while most clients have opted to include Assist services to their policies, it is yet unclear which services will be allowed to operate during the lockdown.
